Tips and Tricks for FeatherSoft Options
Feather Soft Cushions: Remove and Fluff
For back cushions and toss cushions, we recommend removing the slip cover and allowing air to refill the inserts. The best way to do this is to pull at the cover on the insert rather than pushing down as it just pushes more air out. Massage the filling outwards towards the corners.
*It is normal to see feathers outside of it’s casing at this stage. It is normal to lose feathers over time. The amount lost is insignificant compared to what remains in the cushion. Don’t be alarmed! Excess feathers can be thrown away.*

Step 1: Unzip your cushions.
Step 2: Remove the cushion and massage the feathers throughout the inner bag.
What about the Back Cushions?
Re-Fluff! The back-cushions are a bit bigger than smaller toss cushions, so it is best to leave these outside of their slip cover casing for 15-30 minnutes if possible to allow as much air to reinflate the insert. It is also helpful to massage the feathers through the baffling in the inner cushion.

Feather Soft Cushions: Seat Cushions (Global Collection Products only)
The seat cushions have a foam core, therefore it is only the feather topping that needs fluffing. If you notice fabric “puddling” (normally with softer fabrics), you can pull the corners and sides of the cushion to pull it taut. If this doesn’t remove puddling you can unzip the cushion (see below). It is important that you don’t remove the insert of the seat cushions outside of the casing.

If pulling the cushion taut did not remove puddling, sometimes the feathers need to be pushed around in their baffling. We recommend unzipping the outside shell and then using your hand to push the feathers around through the channel tufting. You can also pull the inner bag apart to create more air in the baffled feather layer.
