Fire Table Care Guide

Do not douse the fire with water as this could bring about a sudden change in temperature that can damage the fire pit and deteriorate its metallic components. Turn off the fire pit and allow the fire to die and wait for the temperature of the fire pit to cool gradually before attempting to clean it.

Do not forget to shut all valves and lines that transmit propane or natural gas to the burner. If you have a model where the propane tank is stored inside the table, please remove the propane tank from the fire table and store it in a well ventilated outdoor area while cleaning the fire table.

Prepare warm, soapy water and use a damp, not sopping wet, cloth to wipe down the fire pit. Focus on cleaning the area around the fire pit itself, the areas that are utilized as a tabletop or footrest. It is important to keep the burner clean so that fuel can flow through it without difficulty. Ensure you wipe away all of the soapy mixture with a dry cloth.

Make sure that if you are cleaning the burner, that everything is dry before re-igniting the fire table. Do not reignite the fire table while burner is wet or containing water.

Once you have cleaned the fire table, you should protect it with both the lid and canvas cover that are included in the package, until used again.

It is recommended to cover the fire table with both the lid and canvas weather cover when not in use, as it can prevent damage to the fire pit that may be caused by rain, snow, ice, or heavy wind. The cover can also keep the fire table free of debris.

Bonus: Covering your fire table will mean less cleaning!

Mattress Care Guide

You can expect your mattress to soften slightly over time. This is a normal part of the mattress’ lifetime and is not considered a warranty defect unless a significant depression forms. It is suggested that you rotate your mattress 180 degrees once every 6 months to help maintain the longevity of the mattress!

It is also recommended that your bed frame or box spring is supportive enough for your mattress. Most mattresses require no more than 2.5″ between the slats in order to maintain warranty coverage.

If you have questions if your bedframe will work for your mattress, please give us a call at 604-270-0880!

For cleaning, use a vacuum to remove dust, dirt, and debris.

Our #1 recommendation is to use a mattress protector, in fact it is necessary to have a mattress protector for your warranty!

Please note mattress protectors are available at a discounted rate in our showrooms.

We do not recommend putting your covers in the washing machine as it can be quite abrasive on the fabric and strip the weather coating. Instead, we recommend removing your covers and hand washing or hosing off and wiping down. Please ensure foam, if it gets wet, is allowed to fully dry.

Upholstery Care Guide

When it comes to spills and stains, ultimately we recommend the purchase of our 5 Year Stain Protection Plan. Please note that once the item has left our showroom, we are unable to add the stain plan. It must be added to your invoice before the pick-up or delivery.

Do not remove covers for cleaning. Settings on washing machines can vary, so we strongly advise having items professionally cleaned to avoid any damage to the fabric, seams, or zippers. Most cushion covers are removable, but can be very difficult to put back on, therefore our manufacturers also advise against it.

When it comes to certain fabrics, especially velvets, microfibres, or anything with a tight weave, you are more likely to encounter comfort wrinkles.

Comfort Wrinkles on a sofa is a normal crease or fold that appears on the fabric over time due to use and settling of the filling, padding, or fabric itself. It does not affect the comfort or function of the sofa and may add a casual look. Comfort Wrinkles are not considered a warranty defect.

Feather Cushion

Models with feather cushions will require weekly maintenance to ensure cushions remain full and plump! Feather escape will occur regardless of the design of the cushion cover as there is a tradeoff between comfort, breathability and containing the feathers.

NOT SURE IF YOU HAVE FEATHER SEATS? Give us a call at 604-270-0880 and we can provide you with the details!

Fluffing and rotating of the cushions frequently will be required, including and not limited to the seat cushions.

Non-Feather Cushion

You can expect a slightly firmer feeling for your brand new cushions. It is normal for the seat cushions to soften over time, typically taking about one month to break in. Each foam core will vary in its feel. No pieces will ever feel the exact same, therefore, how it sits on the showroom floor will not be the same level of firmness you receive.

REPLACEMENT CUSHIONS:
For some models, replacement foam or back-fill is available at an additional cost. Please give us a call at 604-270-0880 if you have any questions!

If your cushions are removable, make sure you are rotating or flipping your cushions weekly.

If you find your cushions too firm at time of arrival, we recommend placing the seat cushions on the ground and using your knees to “break-in” the foam.

Faux, Gel & Real Leather

It is highly recommended to use a fabric conditioner specifically made for leather to help maintain softness & durability.

Aim to position your product in a safe area to avoid any defects occurring over time. Direct sunlight, heat sources, and damp or dry areas are not ideal for faux, gel or real leathers. These factors can cause the material to dry out and potentially lead to cracks or a build up of mold.

Always test cleaning products in an inconspicuous area first.

For cleaning, use a vacuum to remove dust, dirt, and debris. For light spills and maintenance, gently wipe with a damp cloth.

It is recommended you use a leather conditioner at least once or twice a year.

Sunbrella Patio Care Guide

UV and Fade Resistant
Traditional dyeing processes only leave color on the surface of fiber, so they easily fade. Sunbrella fibers are saturated to the core with highly UV-stable pigments, making Sunbrella fabrics resistant to fading and the degrading effects of sunlight.

Mold and Mildew Resistant

All Sunbrella fabrics are engineered to resist mold and mildew. Should exposure to dirt and debris cause mold and mildew to occur, all Sunbrella fabrics can be easily and safely cleaned with bleach.

Bleach Cleanable
Because colour goes to the core of Sunbrella fibers, Sunbrella fabrics can be cleaned with solvents such as bleach without losing colour.
